Es Convent, or old Convent of the Soledad, located in Santa Maria del Camí, Mallorca. It was founded in the year 1656 by the Marquis de la Fontsanta within an estate of his property exclusive banquet with your family and friends.
The convent, known today as Es Convent, consists of the convent house, gardens, cloister and church. It was the residence of the friars of the Order of the Minims from 1680 until 1835, the year in which the law of disentailment of the Spanish Government expelled them, along with other religious orders. With the departure of this religious order from the convent complex, the family of the Marquis de la Fontsanta regained ownership of the complex.
In 2022 a reform of Es Convent was completed, with the intention of adapting it to current tastes and needs.
